Simeon who died in 1814 was the son of Jacob Sawyer who died ca. 1827. Simeon's wife was Dorcas LNU who, after Simeon's death, married Daniel Lindsey, Jr. (1795 - 1837). In the 1860 Currituck Census, Dorcas was living in the household of her son Caleb T. Sawyer.
Simeon and Dorcas had four children:
Willoughby b. bef. 1805 in Currituck Co.
Caleb T. b. ca. 1805 in Currituck Co. (my direct line)
Wilson b. bet. 1809 - 1814 in Currituck Co.
Simeon Sawyer b. bet. 1812 - 1814 in Currituck Co. and d. between 1860 -1870 probably in Elizabeth River Parish, Norfolk, VA
Simon (b. 1812 - 1814) married Julia Dowdy b. ca 1823 d. aft. 1880 probably in Norfolk, VA. Julia was the daughter of Samuel and Julia Parker Dowdy. Samuel and Julia Dowdy had five known children. Their oldest daughter Margaret Dowdy married Mathias W. Toler; another of my direct lines.
I am not aware of Simeon (b. 1812 - 1814)Sawyer's middle initial being "T" but it may well have been. Simeon (b. ca. 1782) only mentions his son Caleb with a middle initial of "T." I have often suspected the "T" stood for Toler.
Simeon and Julia had 10 known children. From which of their children do you descend? I have not traced this line out too much further but I may be able to help you some.
I hope some of this helps you.
