The last will and Testament of Christopher Rollinson dec. & exhibited and proved at May term 1819.
In the name of God. Amen. I Christopher Rollinson of Cape Hatteras banks in Currituck county, being sick in body, but of perfect mind and memory, calling to mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make this my last will and testament, and first of all I recommend my soul to God who gave it me, and my body to the dust, to be buried in decent manner, at the discretion of my executors, and as touching such worldly estate as it has pleased Almighty God to bless me with, I give and dispose of them in the following manner and form; and first of all my just debts to be paid.
And then I leave to my daughter Polly a tract of land, beginning at Thomas Quidley's deceased line, running north easterly to a large live oak at the south west end of my potato patch, also a bed and furniture with a counterpane, also a new liner wheel and one cow by the name of Fillpail, also all her mothers clothes left at the decease, with the chest they are in, and one half of a negro woman by the name of Ruth, and one fourth of the child that she is with child of at present.
I leave to my son Christopher Rollinson a tract of land, beginning at said Polly Rollinson's line, running north easterly to a large water oak to the north east of the grave yard, with the house and improvements belonging to said land, with bed stead and bed and furniture that said Christopher lies on, also one half of Ruth, and one fourth of the child she is with child of at present, and one English musket, and one third of my sailing boat.
Also I leave to my daughter Betsey Rollinson a bed stead and bed that she have given her, also one half of the child that Ruth is with child is her son George Less Styron. I also leave to daughter Betsey's son Freeman Wallis Styron a tract of land, beginning at said Christopher Rollinson line, running north easterly to a dead water oak, is cped to Christopher Rollinson.
Also I leave to my son Morris Rollinson a tract of land, beginning at Freeman W. Styron's line, running north easterly to a live oak abreast of the north end of his potato patch, also a bed he formerly occupied, also one half of my negro boy by the name of Ben to said Morris Rollinson son William Rollinson, also I leave to said William Rollinson on third of my sailing boat.
I leave to my son Rueben Rollinson a tract of land, beginning at Morris Rollinson line, running north easterly to Daniel Tolson dec. line, also one bed, and one half of the negro boy by the name of Ben, and one cow by the name of white fall, and one third of my sailing boat.
And I do appoint Christopher Rollinson Ivy Executor of this my last will, and I do acknowledge this to be my last will, and testament.
