There is indeed, at least a partial list of the Currituck County troops that fought in the Battle of Great Bridge. Several years ago I copied the page from a book I found in the Currituck County Library, becuase it listed two of my ancestors (Charles Griggs and William Melson) as being there. Unfortunately, this was when I first started doing genealogy, and I did not make a copy of the title page and author's name. Believe me I have kicked myself many times for this lapse in judgement.

I do not live in the area, so I can't go back to check it out.

As you know attachments to these messages are not allowed, but if you will email me, I will be happy to scan the page I copied and email it back to you.

A quick check of the list does not show a "Whitehall" among the troops.
