Sounds like my family. My ggggrandfather was John A. Mathias of Currituck co. NC. His son my gggrandfather was Benjamin Mathias aka B.F. Mathias of Currituck Co. His son my ggrandfather was Henry James Mathias. Henry was born in Currituck Co. and migrated to Virginia Beach/ Norfolk area about 1910. His daughter Lillian was my grandmother who eventurally moved to Philadelphia, then Cape May NJ. Does anything sound familiar to you? Who are you researching?
