Oh, my, I just noticed you have a death date for Ulrich Richards (August 18,1818). Catherine applied for a land grant in her own name in 1783. In 1786, the widow Richards is mentioned in deed records, and in 1787, 612 acres were granted to her. She is on the 1790 census living next to her son, Ulrich, Jr., and two dwellings away from her daughter and son-in-law, Enoch and Nancy Reece. No sign of Ulrich, and I've not found a trace of him during all that time period. I always assumed he died. Did he just leave the area? Can you tell me where Ulrich's death date came from?
