ROTHROCK: Three sons of Philip Jacob ROTHROCK (1713-1803) migrated to present day Forsyth and Davidson County, North Carolina. They were twins: Peter (1746-1829) ROTHROCK and Philip (1746-1825) ROTHROCK and younger brother Valentine (1751-1812). Peter and his wife are buried at Friedberg Moravian Church Cemetery in Davidson Co., NC. They had ten children that married into ZIEGLER, THOMAS, RUDISILL, PEELER, NIFONG, WHITLOW, REICH, TESCH (TESH), LOCKENOUR, ESSIG (ESSEX), GRETER (CRATER), FRYE (FRY), CLODFELTER, RIPPLE, KNAUSS, SPACH, ROMINGER, FISHEL, DeLAPP, and MENDENHALL families in Davidson and Forsyth Counties. Philip and his wife are also buried at Friedberg Moravian Church and they had ten children. These children married into the following families (that are different from Peter's children): FUHRMAN, SEITZ (SIDES), GREEN, MOCK, BERRIER, WEITMANN (WEIDMAN), CHITTY, PERRYMAN, ZIMMERMAN, STOLTZ, WIBEL (WEBEL), HENSDALE, ADKINS, WELCH, SCHOTT (SHUTT), HOEHNS (HAINES), ATWOOD, SICELOFF, BERRIER, BOECKEL (PICKEL), and HUFFMAN. Valentine married Elizabeth VOLZ (FOLTZ) (1757-1823) in Friedberg and had four children that married into: HEGE, and WAISNER (WEESNER) families. I believe any ROTHROCK individuals from Norther C! arolina tie into these three families. Please contact me if you have any ROTHROCK family members in your North Carolina families.
