I have found a Thomas Parker on the 1840 Davie County NC
censis that possibly could be my 3rd great grand father. On the 1850 Hempstead Co. AR census I find my great grandfather Thomas William Parker as a 5 year old son of John C. Parker age 35 pob NC. He lives on adjoining land to his brother Thomas G.Parker. They have a sister Martha Coulter that winds up living on their property in the 1860 census, I guess after her husband Coulter has dies. The ages and seses of the children listed with Thomas Parker on the 1840 Davie County Census could be John C.,Thomas G. and Martha. Plus the fact that my great grandfather could have been named after his Grand father Thomas. I have copies of the patents that granted Thomas G. and John C.Parker their land in Arkansas. A cousin has suggested this
land was given as Warrents for their fater's service in the war of 1812. Does anyone know how to connect Warrents to Patents?
