Yes this is the family. Shade's father and grandfather are also named Shade/ Shadrock. THe grandfather was a free black from Greene county. His brother William Conner is my ggg grandfather's brother. THis family has been free since 1690 have live in various counties in Coastal Carolina. I am looking find the family.
