Now, what I found interesting is the NC death record for Winnie's son, Levi Peyton Langley
on the record it lists his father as Jim Langley and mother Ann Edwards. Of course the Ann is the middle name of Winnie, and now I am wondering why Jim is listed. Nothing shows James/Jim for Enos/Enoch....
I am finding Enos/Enoch, in different records.. but nothing of a Jim. I am wondering if the informant just did not know....

Civil War Records for Enos Langley
enisted 11/21/1861 in Craven NC at the age of 24
he enlisted as a private in Company K NC 31st Infantry Regement
he was mustered out 1/01/1864
found one record where he went AWOl in Co. K ...
so, he survived, come home and find nothing else after the war except that Winnie was a widow, and he had to have died 1879/80 due to the dob of daughter Matty/Mattie in the 1880 census.
