George Tedder, Samuel and Jacob Teter were in Edgecombe prior to 1750. George is mentioned several times in land transactions; Samuel and Jacob were court clerks in 1753, and a William Tedder was a chain carrier.

I believe these persons descend from James or Henry Tudor who were documented multiple times in Bertie 1732 to 1736.
