Senior Master Sgt. Cleveland "Pat" Theodore Kilpatrick, 87, of Winston-Salem died Monday, Oct. 13, 2003, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born Dec. 10, 1915, in Andulsia, Ala., to George Washington and Ivy Worley Kilpatrick.
He served with the U.S. Air Force for 30 years, retiring in 1968. While in the U.S. Air Force he was involved in the Korean conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Maeola "Pat" Woodlieff Kilpatrick, of the home; a son, Cleveland "Pat Jr." Kilpatrick Jr. and wife, Jeanette, of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Katherine Ford of Port St. Joe, Fla., Margaret "Peggy" Cihla and husband, Joe, of Lonsdale, Minn., and Sara Beth Kilpatrick of Panama City, Fla.; five step-children; 24 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Oct. 14, at Vogler & Sons Main Street Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative CareCenter, 1100-C S. Stratford Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
