This probably won't be much help to you: I knew Buck and Jo and "Miss Jessie" personally, but I don't know of the family connections to John and Francis Perry. But maybe in this information is something that will lead you further.
William Boone "Buck" Harris-born Feb 13, 1900, in Franklin County--to Omega and Agnes Uzzell Harris. Married in 1931 to Josephine Elizabeth House (of Johnston County; born April 23, 1911...recently passed away on 12/5/2009) According to the 1920 census, the chldren of Omega and Agnes Harris were Annie B. Harris (26 yo); Jessie Taylor Harris (24 yo), Hunter Harris (22 yo); William Harris (19 yo); and Alice Harris (16 yo).
Buck and Jo did not have children, and Miss Jessie was a spinster so no children there either. They were both "pistols," both well-known for having a low tolerance for certain people and things. Miss Jessie lived in a beautiful home on a large piece of property on highway 401 south of Louisburg. The house still stands today--it's lovely! Buck and Jo's house was just torn down for development a few years ago. Good luck in your search.
