Looking for information on Thomas YOUNG (b. bef. 1730) and his son William (b. 1762) of Bute (now Franklin) county. I have no information on Thomas's wife and know of only one sibing for William, a sister Elizabeth, who may have remained unmarried. Thomas YOUNG is found in Bute/Franklin/Halifax County records up through 1779. His father's name may have been Edward YOUNG and his mother Sarah ______, who were in the area since 1735 or so.
