Looking for information on MARY CHRISTOPHER b. 17 Jan 1769 in Halifax Co. VA. She was living in GRANVILLE CO. N.C. when she married ROBERT SHANKS on 17 Jan 1793. They had to go to Mecklenburg Co. VA., to be married because there was no minister available in Granville Co., at least that is what is stated on the pension papers filled by both John and later Mary, as his widow, for his Revolutionary War Pension.
John and Mary lived in Caswell Co. N.C. after their marriage, and then lived in GRANVILLE CO., before moving to Madison Co. KY in 1815. Their children were:
