I, too, am descended from the Swaim's of Guilford County. My grandmother was Tommie Derillian Swaim. Her parents were Jesse McBride Swaim and Delphinia Caroline Causey (Swaim). Jesse McBride's parents were Marmaduke Swaim and Jane (Jenny) Hardin (Swaim). Does any of that ring a bell? What was your great grandmother's name? Do you have any further information?
