I have a couple of sites with info about soldiers who served in Halifax in the CSA. Not sure if it has all that you want, but if you haven't checked them out yet, you may find some of what you need.

Scroll to bottom of page to LINKS, Click onto "Halifax Confederate Army Enlistments" for the complete list of citizens who enlisted there.

Then under ON OTHER WEBSITES, click "The Civil War in North Carolina: List of Soldiers", find the name you want, and a listing of the soldier & his unit comes up, and a further click will bring up more info about the unit & some of the soldiers attached to it. Not all of it is as detailed as others, but quite a bit of it is, depending on who you are looking for.
You may also want to try out some of the other links under the OTHER WEBSITES, because many have varying amounts of details and may be of help to you.
