There are several men by this name in early America. This Ephraim Dickens was born in 1790, North Carolina, and later moved to Georgia, then Barbour, Alabama. He married Missouri Brantley and had at least five children: Elizabeth, Benjamin, Thomas, Louisa, and Virginia.
