Looking for information re Crowell family who came to Halifax Co. NC from Woodbridge, NJ. Think they may be part of my family tree. Any information appreciated. Also looking for information to acquire article about the Crowell Family Tradition of changing name from Cromwell to Crowell. The article and other information was supposedly in the Newton, NC Enterprise, March 15, 1879. Saw a reference to this and e-mailed the individual but have had no response.
