I believe that Jeremiah Capps and Zilphia Massey are the parents of my ancestor William Capps (b. 1825, probably Wayne County, although he resided in Johnston County after marriage...first appers in Census in 1850 Johnston Co). Zilphia Capps (55) appears in 1850 in household of daughter Esther Capps Daughtery (Solomon is husband of Esther)along with John Capps 26, her son also, I believe.

In several ancestry trees Jeremiah is shown as dying in Chatham County. Do you have any inf that might help me?
