Following is Re: Abraham I TAYLOR who married EDA:
Will of Abraham I TAYLOR was made 1751 at Johnston County, North Carolina. The will was probated the same year (1751) at Craven County, North Carolina.
It appearing that Abraham was too ill to relocate in 1751, the boundries of Johnston County must have changed & the area he lived in became part of Craven County.
The children named in will:
Prudence
Joseph
Absolum (also had son named Absolum)
Ama ( married Cotton)
Rachel (married Bagley)
A daughter deceased (Mary?) who married General George Marshall
Abraham's son, Joseph was executor of the will
Witnesses:
Absolum II TAYLOR ( Abraham's son)
Sarah Prevatt
