Which Lamb family was this? I have just found that John Lamb died in Johnston Co. in 1815 His widow Miriam petitioned for a year's support for herself and her children: Jacob, Sally, Morica, Reddick and Milly.

In 1823 that Jacob Lamb and Joel Newsom witnessed a deed between David Barnes and Silas Lamb. These Lambs went to Fayette Co., GA via Marlboro, SC. They were on the 1840 census.
