Thanks to "Smithfield Herald" obituaries indexed and supplied by the Johnston Heritage Center, I have transcribed obits for my direct ancestors Jackson S. Barbour (1839-1910) and Smithy Ann (Godwin) Barbour (1835-1919). The texts are posted on my Ancestry tree and here:
