I am researching my ancestors, Wright Handy ADAMS(b. 1808, N.C.) and Anna Jane JONES ADAMS(b.1817, N.C.), daughter of Reddick JONES (b.1790, N.C.). Wright Handy ADAMS was in Johnston Co. N.C. in 1834 as a bondsman in the Johnston Co. marriage of Right A. ADAMS (son of Allen & Sally ADAMS) and and Theny INGRAM. He moved to Montgomery co. Ala. where he married Anna Jane JONES Mar. 8, 1836. His name appears in the Montgomery Co.Ala. estate papers of Bryant ADAMS (Jr.?)(apx.1839). Bryant ADAMS (Sr.) was a pensioner of the Rev. war from Johnston Co. who had his pension transferred back to N.C.. and apparently died in Johnston Co.. I would like to find the parents of Wright Handy ADAMS and find his connection to the Johnston Co. Bryant ADAMS family.
