This is rather far-fetched but as often back then the children often took names of their Mother's maiden name. My ancestor Millinder Fiveash was married first to a Mashburn or Marshburn in Johnston county or maybe Hertford County. I have not been able to find out anything about her and saw you were working on the Millenders so thought I would try and see if you had ever even heard of a Millinder, whose first name was Millinder.
