NC... daughter Sadie Johnson b. 1844 Anson County, NC married Clem Jowers/Gowers... James and Catherine Sinclair Johnson shows in 1860/1870 census Diamond Hill district, Anson County, NC.. James married to Catherine Sinclair Johnson with 4 children under 10 yrs old and two Watkins children 10 – 20 years old... Sallie Bryan Johnson apparently died near birth of daughter Sadie Johnson... Catherine died Anson County, NC Sept 1879 and was widowed... have lots of information on this family after 1860... willing to share.....

Williams Watkins living next door married to susan from SC... not there 1870 census... may have moved to SC...
