Actually, this is not in regard to Outlaw but rather Kornegay. I am trying to add one more level to one of the legs of my family tree. My ggggggrandfather Adam E. Williams, Johnston Co. NC (b. abt. 1790 d. 1873) married Ava/Avy Goodson, daughter of Josiah Goodson and Sarah Jane Rice Goodson. Adam's wife is also referred to as Eve Kornegay. try to follow me here. I have read that Josiah bought land from a Kornegay.(The land purchase was in eastern NC.) That seems to be more than a coincidence to me. Could it be that the Kornegay name that Ava/Avy/Eve had as well as the gentleman selling the land is a family name? Maybe Josiah's mother's maiden name or Sarah's mother's maiden name. Someone dealing with Williams, Goodson, Rice, or Kornegay may have the answer. I hope so.
