Surnames: Worley
The context of this was on a three part doucment from the Department of the Interior Bureau of Pensions dated Jan 4 1902. The first was "referred to the Chief of the Record and Pension Office. War Department requesting a further report showing whether the soldier rendered voluntary service in the CSA in Co C 64 NC Regt about May 1863 also a full military and medical history of the soldier with age at date of enlistment in Co C3 N.C. Mtd Inf (the second part)
Record and Pension Office Commissioner of Pensions, with the information that in the case of "Henry Whorley also born as Worley -Co 3 NC Mtd Inf furs descript is as follows" " Age at ens 27 yrs . hgt 5 ft 6 in . eyes and hair black. Lassys dark. Born in Buncombe Co, N.C. a farmer. Milty records funish nothing further added to enclosed report.)[the spelling is as I can make out and a lot is short hand they wrote. All I can figure is this was like we describe Olive skin.] Dan, If you would like more info on this I would be happy to give you what I have . It came from a pension record for his wife.(Savilla). The last part medical records show his treated as follows ( no record found) . No record of conscription found.
