Trying to find information on the family of Aaron Wardrep and Elizabeth Bradley. They were married in 1865 in Madison Co, NC and lived their lives there. Does anyone know when Aaron died? It was between 1880 and 1900, but I cannot find a record of his death. I cannot locate him on the 1890 veteran's census, either. Thanks for any help.

!MILITARY: 'NC Troops, 1861-1865, vol VI', Co B 16th inf regiment, 'Private Aaron J. Wardrope resided in Madison County or in Greene County, TN, and enlisted in Madison Co. at age 25, 29 April 1861. Present or accounted for until captured at Fredericksburg, VA, 13 Dec 1862. Exchanged on or about 17 Dec 1862. Present or accounted for until hospitalized at Richmond, VA, 18 July 1863, with a gunshot wound of the head; however, place and date wounded not reported. Returned to duty 12 Aug 1863. Present or accounted for until captured at Wilderness, VA, 6 May 1864. Confined at Point Lookout, MD, until transferred to Elmira, NY, where he arrived 14 Aug 1864. Released 23 June 1865, after taking the oath of allegiance.
