I don't know if this helps but I can trace my line thru William Irvin Black born 1830 in Pa. Northumberland Co. Later to Ohio married Florinda Ann Johnson then joined the army civil war 1863 ...1866 Then moved to Calinda, Iowa as a carpenter where he died in 1909. I am trying to find his father and mother. Does James Martin Black .from Georgia or Susanna Beighly of Pa. Show up anywhere ?
