I am researching my 5th ggrandfather, John McIntire. I recently found a Revolutionary War indentured service agreement between him and Samuel Knox of Mecklenberg. I have suspected for a while that his family came from either Mecklenburg and/or Rutherford Counties. I would love to share information with anyone who has researched or is researching the McIntires in Mecklenberg.
