I am new to this and trying to find out any info on my family tree. My great grandfather's name was Gay Harvey Penland, his Father was Robert H. Penland (who married 2 x), his father was Leander or James Leander Penland, who was married to Merilda Patton. They came from and resided in Mitchell County, NC.
