For those researching early Moore County records and specifically early Upper Moore County records, I wanted to invite you to www.MooreCountyWallaces.com as I have recently added copies of several original tax lists from Cumberland and Moore counties as well as an early petition containing hundreds of original signatures.

Inaugural Tax List of Cumberland County. Includes some of the earliest land owners from present day Cumberland, Moore, Harnett, Lee and Hoke counties.
