Elizabeth, I have gotten some more information for us. In the book "Wills of Pulaski County, GA" by Victor Myrick; (published in 1994 by the Central Georgia Genealogical Society) is the will of Allen Tooke. In it he leaves "one seventh to my sister Mary Taylor. The will is dated 6 Mar 1823.
In the will of James Morton Taylor, he leaves possessions to Mary Taylor and one of his executors is Allen Tooke. Authur Tooke is one of the witnesses.
I don't know where you are located but I found this book in the local library in Americus, GA
