Looking for a connection with my Lane's from Perquimans Co. with any Lane researcher's in Northhampton Co. Exum Lane had a son Amos Lane. This Amos Lane was born in Northhamton Co. and died in Civil War. He is Listed as a Decendent of Exum Lane in cross index to executors and admins.in Perquimans Co.Court House. Dated Aug 1830 Book 7 pg. 80 .The book has been moved to N.C. Dept of Archives. Also Exum lane was on Fed. census in Perqs.Co.(1850) and later moved to Northhampton Co.
