My husband's family has been traced back to John Boston, who was either born in VA or NC in 1737. He married Rebecca Randal who was born in 1740 in Onslow County. They married about 1760. We know that John Boston was Major in the Onslow Militia and supposedly fought in the battle of of the Guilford Courthouse, along with 3 brothers, one may have been Matthew. We were told that 2 of them died on the battlefield but neither were John or Matthew.

Any info on Boston's in the area in the late 1600's through the 1700's would be appreciated.
