I dont recall the name McDonald be it may be some relation. But I do know most of my Nixon were from the Washington County and Perquimans county area. My Great Great Grandfather was Graville Nixon (b.1859) and his wife was Mary Close (or Klose) The first record I have of them is from 1900. They were living in Camden. I havent been able to find anything before then. I know they had about 8 kids before Mary died. And then he remarried to a woman name Cassie.
