Hi. I am trying to disentangle what appear to be multiple marriages in the Perquimans will of Elizabeth Barclift, as abstracted here:

Grandson Tulle Jackson; grandson Thomas Weeks, son of Wilson Weeks Sr. deceased; grandsons Joseph and William Knowles, sons of my son Abner Knowles; son Abner Knowles; dau Sarah Weeks; son William Knowles; heirs of son Joshua Arnold deceased, namely Sarah Wooten, Polly Arnold, James Arnold, Miriam Snowden, Rebecah Cartwright and Keziah Arnold.

EXR: grandson Tulle Jackson. WIT: Lemuel Whidbee, John Grantham and Richard Leigh.

As best I can determine Elizabeth had married a Knowles and had children William, Abner, and Sarah. Sarah later married Moses Jackson and begot Tulle Jackson. Sarah later married Wilson Weeks and begot Thomas Weeks. Please correct if I am wrong.

So, do we know her Knowles husband?

And with whom does she have a son Joshua Arnold?

And apparently her last marriage involved a Barclift. If so, who?

And the big question for me: what was her maiden name or who were her parents?
