I am seeking any information about the ancestry of
BENNETT PAGE (abt 1828-1865), who lived in Brunswick County, NC (wife=Sarah Hewitt), from sometime before 1850, and who is said in some records to have originally been from Pitt County, NC. Despite 30 years' extensive research by myself, my father, and cousin, we have have not been able to establish his ancestry. DNA evidence suggests that he might have been related to the families of William Page Sr and William Page Jr in Caswell County, NC (early 19th century), but I haven't been able to establish a clear connection.

Any information about this question would be received with enormous gratitude. I would love to be able to find this information during the lifetime of my father.
