Hi, Samuel Truss Sr. was my 7th greatgrandfather. I am trying to join the DAR with him as my ancestor. His son was Samuel Jr. who was the father of Frances "fanny" Truss who was married to Patrick Kinchen Gamble my 5th great grandparents. DAR is requesting information that I am having a hard time finding. Does Fannie have an earlier headstone before the one shown on Ancestry records, which DAR says is too modern.I accidently found a copy of Samuel Jr's will (not the deed) where he mentions all of his children (who they married) and that he is leavin everything to son Thomas. That would satisfy DAR but I can't find it again. Do you have a copy of this will or do you know where I can obtain a copy.
