MADISON — Susie Mae McBride Goins, 82, died Friday, October 26, 2012, at Brian Center.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Lord's House of Prayer Cemetery.

She was born in Rockingham County on April 8, 1930, to the late Robert Franklin and Kittie Lou Hennis McBride.

Susie was a retired nurse and past employee of Britthaven of Madison.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goins was preceded in death by her husband, George Hampton Goins; and a brother, Junior McBride.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Flynt; son, Tommy Goins; brothers, Bill, Elmer, and Arthur McBride and Joe Henry Shough; a sister, Nannie Woods; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Colonial Funeral Home.
