I am researching this line (Maxwell Chambers b. 1742 PA, d. 1809 Rowan Co., NC) - trying to determine how Maxwell's line is related to the "other" Chambers line in Rowan/Irdell Co., NC - the Henry Chambers line (aka Robert Henry Chambers)b. 1708, d. 1796 in Rowan. According to a descendant of this Henry line, some of his children were born in Lancaster Co., PA; family was in Rowan/Irdell by about 1753. Overall, I'm trying to determine if Fanny Chambers, who married Epenetus Winders in Halifax, VA in 1789, may relate to the Chambers of Rowan. She and Ep lived in Person Co., NC in the 1800 census, moved to Rowan by 1807 where Ep died c. 1820, Fanny d. in 1846. Because of their children's naming scheme, we think Fanny might be related to the William (d. 1801 in Person Co., NC) and Elizabeth Patton Chambers line, but haven't been able to figure out if and where all these Chambers lines connect.
