William Pinkston Sr. was born 16th Dec. 1733. He married at an unknown date Mary Polk, b. 23rd May 1735. Who are the parents of Mary Polk? Mary Polk and William Pinkston Sr's children are said to be: Meshack Pinkston, Rebecca Pinkston who married John Turner, Dinah/Vinah/Luana Pinkston who married John Howard, Peter Pinkston, Ann Pinkston, and Turner Pinkston. Is Captain John Howard the John Howard who married the daughter of Mary Polk and William Pinkston Sr.?
