It is very possible that there is something to the fact that my ggrandmother, Rowan Revels, mulatto married a Miller under the assumed name of the white family that she was indentured to when she married my ggrandfather, Tony Miller who was white to hide the fact that Rowan was mixed. A connection between the Millers and the Revels appears likely.
