Dr. Jesse Green was a descendant of an impressive family. Along with other family members, Joseph, Benjamin, Edmund, Isaac and Robert, he owed acreage in the area now known as Blowing Rock, NC. Arriving with Richard and Eleanor Sullivan Greene was her father, Ed Sullivan, a Rev. War solider. Dr. Jesse's great grandparents were Jeremiah and Johanna Hunt Greene. About 1759, this couple left friends and family, including Jeremiah's parents, Judge William and Joanna Reeder Greene of Trenton, Ewing Township, Hunterdon Co., NJ.
