I am seeking any information about the parents of Hiram Tucker, b. ca 1784, and Ira Tucker, b. ca 1787. Both were b. in NC. In the book "Abstracts of Sampson-Duplin County Deeds" I find William Tucker selling and buying property with Hiram as a witness in 1799 & 1800. Hiram later m. Catherine Hendry, daughter of Alexander & Thankful Cromartie Hendry of Bladen Co. Ira m. Priscilla Carrol, daughter of Jesse and Mary Given Carroll. Hiram and his family and Ira and his family moved to Pike Co. AL ca 1821. It is thought that William Tucker was the father of Hiram & Ira but I can find no proof of this. Any help would be most welcome.
