My husband Robert Crossman has done an extensive genealogy of the Swain Family around the Central Arkansas area and their ancestors with about 7 generations. My grandfather was Sherman N. Swain. We think our people are from the North Carolina area. Robert published a book on the Swain Family genealogy about 14 years ago and we still have a few copies.
