I am searching for William Patterson who was married to Polly Oney. They had their children in Bedford, Va. but I have started finding land transactions in Tryon county for them in 1780 so I know they had moved.
My line goes throught their son,William who was married to Elizabeth Morris- to Edward Patterson married to Mildred McCoy Lewis-to William George Patterson married to Rebecca Hogue- to Leonard Hayne Patterson married to Mary Lee Hardin- and then to my father William Hayne Patterson.
I know William fought in the Revolution but so far I can not find where he was buried.
