My great, great grand father, Joseph Hunter, was a slave on Alsey Hunter's land, he has a brother, Briscoe and a sister, Cresy. I cannot find a mother nor a father but he is listed as a mulatto. I believe he may have been fathered by one of the Hunter men but I cannot find a mother at all. In the listing of slaves there are only numbers no names.
