Great Grandfather Rufus Henry Smith was killed in Arkansas sometime after 1880 over a pig. His wife brought her children back to Wake County and lived with Smith relatives until the children were grown. I am unable to find anything on them.
On the Collins side great grand pa Collins was in the Civil War. He was taken prisoner and pardoned somewhere in Durham.
I would appreciate any help .
