I am seeking information on several black families from Warren County. My primary interest is my grandfather James Williams who married a Laura Powell between the 1860's and 1870's. My other interest is in my grandmother who maried three times. Her name was Vinnie. her first husband was a Wilson, the second husband was a Smithrick, and her third husband was a Ben Spruiell. The primary church in Warren County of these relatives was Lovely Hill Baptist Church. Many lived in the area of Liberia, Marmaduke, and Arcola.
